Lost Goblin is an indie game studio comprised of experienced developers based in New Zealand. Our new game in development is Goblins of Elderstone - A goblin tribe simulator and village builder for PC

We are a very small, but fierce indie studio based in New Zealand. Founded in 2014 with the dream of making small, high-quality, independent games. Gustav Seymore is the creative chief and founder of Lost Goblin.

We released our first game, a simple tower defense title in February of 2015 and then sought out and found funding late 2015 for our current project, Goblins of Elderstone, a goblin tribe simulator for the PC market. This funding allowed us to go full time for a time and add a few talented goblins to the team.

In September 2016 Goblins of Elderstone was finalist in the Kiwi Game Starter. Our Kickstarter campaign helped us bring the project to the finishing line and build a community around the game. Having been picked by the community through greenlight on Steam, we are heading to our Early Access release.

Freeform city building - Goblins don't like orderly straight lines, so there is no grid-based city building.

Large resource and crafting tree - With over 30 different resources that can be gathered, crafted, traded or raided, your goblins will always have plenty of work to do.

Clan, World and Divine politics - Use a combination of fast talking, gift giving, violence and threats to keep your clan and council in line. Use these same action in dealing with the other rulers of the world and even your chosen gods.

War, Trade or Faith - Chose to play as either a conquering worldlord, a shrewd trader or the powerful chosen ones of your gods.

Scout, Raid, Trade or Pilgrimage - Goblins don't really farm so as your tribe grows in size you will need to form your goblins up into trek parties and send them out to raid and pillage dungeons and other towns.

RPG Story Moments - Elderstone is an ancient place and each story told in it is unique. Deal with traveling strangers, evil overlords, cunning dragons or benevolent gods. Stories written by Edwin McRae - the writer behind Path of Exile and other amazing games.

Defend your tribe - Darkness lurks around every turn, protect the tribe from roaming monsters or pesky adventurers. Fight off enemy raid parties and retaliate with your own.

Survive winter - winter is harsh with extreme cold, lack of resources and the presence of undead creatures. Preparing for each winter is crucial to your tribe's survival.

...this looks amazing and made in NZ! I can’t wait for this game to release. I’m a huge fan of the art style and have always had a soft spot for goblins...

Goblins of Elderstone looks absolutely fantastic. Cute characters, vibrant, low-poly art style, packed with features...

Goblins of Elderstone’s spin on the genre seems to be the direct interactivity you can have outside of the literal building of your tribe: from managing the inter-tribal politics and carrying out raids against humans, dwarves and orcs to the RPG story moments where you’ll deal with travelling strangers, dragons and everything in between.
